Jace Aaron - Biography
Nashville Tennessee
Jace Aaron began his musical journey at the age of 12 playing percussion and singing in Nashville’s Lower Broadway and Printers Alley. His eclectic musical stylings originate from his Tennessee home and upbringing. They range from hard-driving Punk to a mellower Country Rock vibe. Jace's signature playing approach has an instantly recognizable fluidity and his vocal has an unparalleled intensity. His versatility and proficiency are most notable when he's performing Country, Cajun-Country, Bluegrass and Rock.
Jace's inner Gypsy has taken him on a long, strange musical journey that, up to now, has inspired him to write and compose over 100 songs. Jace has gotten down with the likes of Dolly Parton, Stella Parton, Bob Weir and Merl Saunders from the Saunders-Garcia Band and The Grateful Dead, Mike Lawson from Jefferson Airplane-Hot Tuna, Fleetwood Mac and Jesse Kramer from AGT. Jace is always willing and ready to perform for the fans. He's been asked to go out on national tours in support of the Matt Hartle Jam Band, Hot Buttered Rum and Mudbone.
The camera loves Jace Aaron. That's what prompted music legend and icon Dolly Parton to have him co-star right alongside her in the CMT ORIGINAL country music video Honky Tonk Song . Jace also starred in the independent short film, Dry Gulch, written and directed by Mario Coleman, an award winning cinematographer and director based in Nashville Tennessee. Jace's part in Dry Gulch was written exclusively for him and based on a gunslinger from the well known Cowboy Town in Whites Creek, Tennessee.
Following the release of their album NashVegas Ramblers Do Christmas, Jace and his band, The NashVegas Ramblers, have received a CMA Best Bluegrass Artist of the Year award.
Jace is currently an active member of Richie Owens and the Farm Bureau, which has compiled multiple videos that secured Jace national touring status. He is the writer and founder of the group Jace Aaron and The Ranchers. They're best known for a cutting-edge sound that mixes traditional Country with Cowpoke Punk.
Jace Aaron takes great joy in sharing his music with others. It's that ideology that emboldens him to continue making waves in the music industry. Jace Aaron is as analogous to Country Music Royalty as breathing is to living. His music video, “The Back of my Truck”, is a shining beacon that cuts through the muck and mire of a genre that has lost its bearings to a dystopian landscape. Is “The Back of my Truck” reinventing the wheel or vying for critical acclaim from a diluted system that has become more of a popularity contest than an art form, no. But what the track and video does convey are those seemingly old school, lost feelings of loyalty, integrity, love and togetherness. Melding a nostalgic feel with a modern flair is no easy task, but Jace glides through the song with a delivery that's frictionless, relatable and fun! Listen, for this next part, go get a mirror… this can wait… okay you’re back. As Monty used to say and as Wayne says now, let’s make a deal! First, stop staring at yourself in the mirror, your hair is fine. Just occasionally glance at it while watching the video. If you catch yourself smiling, from ear to ear, while longing-for a time when this genre was all about “that” feeling… you gotta air it!
